Unlike most forms of glass decorating etching will never wash off or fade no matter how often you use or wash the glass. The design is actually "blasted" into the glass using an abrasive media at high pressure. The etching process requires several steps to complete and each step is done by hand. It is time consuming and requires a sharp eye for detail. One wrong move can easily result in the piece being ruined. One of the things we strive for is offering you the widest possible selection of design and glass options. Many sites sell some type of etched glassware but we have not found any with the array of designs and styles we offer.
